We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the development of our AI-powered applications for security automation. This is a high-impact leadership role that spans engineering, AI research, and product — with a strong focus on building intelligent, scalable systems to transform how security teams operate.

You’ll be a technical and strategic partner to product and research teams, helping drive initiatives across the company and mentoring engineers to deliver high-performance, real-time systems.

• Accuracy: We aim to correctly triage any alert while providing full transparency on each step taken and the reasoning behind it.
• Cost and scale: We need to bring the power of LLMs and big-data integrations to customers on any budget.
• Breadth: We need to run on any customer environment and automate any security use case.

• →Lead a team of engineers building AI-driven applications for security alert triage, incident investigation, and response automation
• →Collaborate closely with AI researchers, security experts, and product managers to bring complex ideas to life
• →Roll up your sleeves when needed — participate in design reviews, unblock technical challenges, and help implement critical systems
• →Drive engineering excellence and team growth while maintaining a hands-on mindset
• →Balance short-term delivery with long-term technical vision and scalability
• →Be a key partner in shaping our product strategy and technical roadmap

• 2–3 years of engineering leadership experience in high-growth or startup environments
• Strong technical foundation as an individual contributor (IC), ideally with prior work in distributed systems, ML pipelines, or real-time data processing
• Experience collaborating closely with AI/ML teams or working on AI products
• Ability to manage and grow a high-performing team while staying close to the code when needed
• Passion for building complex systems that drive meaningful impact
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Comfort with hybrid work — this role requires being in our Pleasanton office 3x/week
