e-Commerce Sales Administrator (Takealot & Amazon)

A growing retail product business is seeking an experienced e-Commerce Sales Administrator on a part-time basis to manage online marketplace trading. This remote role requires a dedicated professional to handle daily account operations, inventory management, order processing, returns, and customer communications across Takealot.co.za and Amazon.co.za. The position offers flexible work-from-home arrangements for 1 to 2 business days per week, working standard hours from 09:00 to 17:00. Candidates must possess practical operational experience on at least one of these specific e-commerce platforms. Please note that AWS (Amazon Web Services) experience is not applicable for this role. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and process daily sales orders, customer returns, and queries across Takealot and Amazon seller platforms. Manage online inventory levels, stock allocations, and listings to maintain accurate product availability. Coordinate stock send-ins, replenishment shipments, and fulfillment processes for both marketplace platforms. Handle platform communications, customer service messages, and dispute resolutions in line with marketplace standards. Monitor product listings, content updates, pricing accuracy, and overall store performance metrics. Requirements Proven hands-on experience managing merchant store operations on Takealot.co.za, Amazon.co.za, or both. Strong practical understanding of online retail sales administration, stock management, and returns handling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for handling customer and platform queries. Ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail in a remote working environment. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience managing listings and inventory on both Takealot and Amazon concurrently.
