Responsibilities
~1 min readWe’re hiring a mechanical engineering team leader who is excited about product development and coaching the next generation of engineers. In this role you will support and mentor product development teams to advance new technologies and bring new products to market. You will be the backstop for project teams, keeping up with the day to day design work and providing support on the toughest technical problems your teams face. You will coach on softer skills like project management, writing project proposals and statements of work, and budget reviews. As a team leader you will support 3-15 engineers, depending on team sizes, project scope and complexity.
- S. in mechanical engineering or related field
- Broad technical background and a desire to learn more
- Experience in consulting
- Experience leading technical teams and mentorship/coaching
- 3D CAD experience (Solidworks preferred)
- Experience with a range of manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, sheet metal, casting, etc.)
- Experience designing biomedical or automation products a plus
