About the Role
~1 min readMake a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of people in custody by delivering advanced primary healthcare across SA Prison Health Services. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work with a high level of autonomy to assess, diagnose, treat and coordinate care while supporting positive health outcomes across metropolitan and regional correctional settings. Clinics are delivered across a variety of metropolitan and country prison locations, offering a diverse and rewarding scope of practice. Country travel and overnight stays are required as part of the role.
- Provide advanced assessment, diagnosis and treatment
- Manage chronic, complex and acute health conditions
- Prescribe medicines and coordinate patient care
- Deliver virtual and face-to-face healthcare services
- Lead service improvement and evidence-based practice
