About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather historical data and information from company internal databases and organize/format data in Excel, creating new financial models as required.
- Preparation of draws as requested by lenders for review/approval by the Manager, Project Finance.
- Assist with the preparation of documents requested by lenders with respect to project financing submissions. Such documents would include, but are not limited to, invoices, Agreements of Purchase and Sale, site plans, appraisals, environmental reports, and geotechnical reports.
- Assist with the maintenance and distribution of financial metrics related to debt including tracking of amounts, guarantees, letters of credit, cash collateral and/or debt covenant calculations.
- Coordination and gathering of information required as part of the annual or quarterly loan review process including financial statements, rent rolls, property taxes, lease agreements, etc.
- Identify business and/or operational opportunities for improvements.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- A minimum of 2 - 5 years of finance or accounting experience.
- Intermediate skill level using Excel, ERP and SQL
- Experience in Yardi and NewStar is an asset.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Real Estate industry experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to meet tight timelines.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
- Manage changing and conflicting priorities.
- Maintain confidential financial information.

This position is to fill an existing vacancy. The salary range for this role is 60-100k
