About the Role:
The Sales Assistant provides essential support to the on-site sales team, helping them achieve sales goals and ensure customer satisfaction. This is a temporary position. They engage with customers, optimize sales strategies and promotions, and create a welcoming and organized sales environment. If you have excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, we invite you to consider joining us. This is a temporary position, with an anticipated duration of approximately three (3) months.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain the sales centre reception area to ensure a positive first impression.
  • Meet, greet and register all guests.
  • Promptly and professionally handle telephone calls; take and distribute messages as required.
  • Maintain the CRM (Lasso) prospect database and Newstar ensuring 100% compliance with all 
    prospect/client information.
  • Communicate with prospects and buyers in email or other forms as directed.
  • Prepare Purchase and Sale Agreements and Tarion forms for Sales Consultants:
  • Prepare and maintain all purchaser files.
  • Ensure contracts are complete and accurate.
  • Ensure deposits are received and purchase package is complete.
  • Ensure all necessary addendums are filled out and signed.
  • Ensure subjects are removed or extended as required.
  • Maintain traffic reports and site plan “dot maps” daily and send to head office weekly.
  • Ensure homes are registered with Tarion once notice of construction is received.
  • Issue Tarion delay notices after clients have been personally notified.
  • Provide digital copies of all sales paperwork and file appropriately on the server.
  • Issue account summaries for clients.
  • Assist Sales Consultants and Sales Manager with planning and coordinating sales events.
  • Participate in team meetings as required.
  • General Office Management:
  • Maintain and order office supplies
  • Coordinate marketing materials with Marketing Manager
  • General sales centre clean-up
  • Ensure equipment (fax, copier) is maintained and serviced as required

 

About You:

  • Friendly, engaging and positive personality
  • Bilingual skills are desirable (French/English)
  • Experience with real estate CRM software (Lasso)
  • Attention to detail
  • Fundamental knowledge of the real estate sales process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, filing, office and phone skills
  • MS Office suite skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • Suitable professional business attire at all times required in workplace setting

This position is to fill one (1) existing temporary vacancy. The salary range for this role is $35,000 – 42,000, plus commissions
