Credit Controller - FTC

We are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join our dedicated team at the Dudley office on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. If you have previous experience working in a collections environment and can support enhancing the credit control function, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! 

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for maximising the collection of debt, while ensuring that the debtor days are reduced in line with company targets. 

• →Debt management and collection of customer accounts
• →Responsibility for your section of the ledger
• →Achieving agreed collection targets
• →Providing reports on the performance of accounts
• →Controlling and monitoring the daily debt
• →Monitoring cash allocation and proposing corrective action on allocated accounts where needed
• →Escalating serious issues to the Team Leader or Credit Manager
• →Providing an excellent level of customer service
• →Resolving all business queries within agreed timeframes
• →Ad hoc administration duties

• A minimum of 2 years experience within a collections environment
• ICM qualification would be advantageous
• Ability to initiate and facilitate continuous improvements
• Work to strict timeframes
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office and Pivot tables
• Understanding of audit controls
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Good organisation skills
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
