As Boutique Manager, you'll lead a team of sales associates, drive sales, and build genuine loyalty among a growing New York clientele, all while upholding the brand's identity, values, and positioning at every level of the boutique experience.
You'll ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the boutique and be directly accountable for its commercial performance. This role blends hands-on floor leadership with real business ownership, you're setting sales strategy, shaping the client experience, and building the team, not just managing a shift.
This is ideal for a boutique leader who has genuinely operated at a premium or luxury level before, who leads with both rigor and warmth, and who understands that craftsmanship and client relationships are what define a Maison like this one.
Significant, successful experience managing a boutique or establishment within the premium or luxury sector
Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for retail and hands-on boutique operations
Strong listening skills, attention to detail, and leadership ability paired with a supportive management style
Impeccable presentation, a strong appreciation of product, and an understanding of artisanal craftsmanship
Comfortable representing a heritage Maison with the polish and discretion the brand's positioning demands
Requirements
~1 min read5+ years of successful boutique or store management experience within premium or luxury retail is required
Available for an anticipated early July start date, including an initial two-week training period in Paris
Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales targets established with Retail Management
Play an active role in planning and executing in-store commercial initiatives, including collaborations, new product launches, and visual merchandising projects
Monitor market trends and changes in customer behavior to refine product assortments and maximize sales
Develop and maintain strong relationships within the boutique's network by delivering exceptional service
Provide Management with weekly reports covering commercial activity and category performance
Ensure impeccable product presentation and maintain the boutique to the highest standards at all times
Oversee stock management with accuracy and rigor, coordinating with the Supply Chain team to keep the boutique properly stocked
Collaborate with internal teams, including Retail, Marketing, and Merchandising, to plan and coordinate special events and product launches
Maintain an exceptional standard of customer service, ensuring every client receives a personalized experience consistent with the Maison's positioning
Build genuine, lasting loyalty among new and existing New York clientele
Participate in recruiting and training team members, ensuring all brand standards are followed
Foster a culture of service excellence, ensuring the team consistently delivers a personalized experience in line with the Maison's standards
Set individual and team objectives, monitor performance, and provide daily feedback
Encourage team cohesion by creating a positive, supportive, and motivating working environment
Achievement of sales targets and strong commercial performance across product categories
Consistently impeccable boutique presentation and stock accuracy
Genuine client loyalty and relationship growth within the New York market
