We are seeking an experienced Garden Maintenance Manager to join our growing team, in a full-time capacity:

About the Role

  • Managing and scheduling a small garden maintenance team.
  • Coordinating day-to-day maintenance operations and ensuring works are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through regular communication and site visits.
  • Preparing project handover documentation and maintenance reports.
  • Overseeing the procurement and sourcing of plants and garden materials.
  • Performing hands-on garden maintenance and horticultural works, spending approximately two days per week working within gardens.
  • Identifying plants and monitoring plant health to maintain thriving landscapes.
  • Planting, transplanting, pruning, mulching, weeding and fertilising gardens as required.
  • Applying horticultural expertise to support garden development and ongoing maintenance programs.
  • Ensuring tools, equipment and vehicles are maintained and operated safely.
  • Proven experience in a garden maintenance leadership or management role
  • Qualified in Horticulture (essential)
  • Strong plant knowledge and identification
  • Experience management and coordinating staff and work schedules
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, in all weather conditions
  • Sound knowledge of horticulture and soft landscaping practices
  • Drivers licence
  • White Card
