Part of the Robert Plumb Collective, and newly merged with Captive Cabinetmaking, Cranbrook Workshop is in a growth phase with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects. Cranbrook Workshop specialises in custom joinery and cabinetry, balancing modern carpentry technologies with care and craft. We provide all types of joinery from simple solutions to more highly articulated interior designer led treatments.
The position is full-time and located in our workshop in Botany.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Maker / Joiner with a passion for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. You will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling high-quality custom joinery and cabinetry, ensuring all work is completed to specification, on time, and to the highest standards.
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to the delivery of premium architectural joinery projects while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manufacture and assemble custom cabinetry and joinery products.
- →Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
- →Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- →Ensure all work meets quality standards and project requirements.
- →Assist with the installation and fitting of joinery as required.
- →Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- →Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- →Identify and resolve manufacturing issues to ensure quality outcomes.
- →Handle materials and components with care to minimise waste and damage.
- →Support apprentices and contribute to a positive team culture.
