WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERS

The Automotive OEM Manager serves as Roehm’s strategic ambassador to major automotive OEMs across North America, driving high‑impact partnerships and shaping the future of our materials portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will expand market share, influence product innovation, and lead cross‑functional teams to win new programs and accelerate growth. You’ll be at the center of OEM strategy, relationship-building, and next‑generation application development.

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

→Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Polymer Science, Engineering, Chemistry) or a non‑technical degree with proven industry experience; MBA is a plus.
→Minimum 7 years of sales, technical, marketing, OEM development, or business development experience in the plastics industry—preferably supplying the automotive sector.
→Minimum 5 years of dedicated Automotive OEM management experience with demonstrated success securing programs and approvals.
→Must reside within a 2‑hour drive of the Detroit metropolitan area and be able to travel approximately 50%, including occasional international trips.
→Proven ability to lead within a heavily matrixed, cross‑functional, multicultural environment; highly self‑motivated with strong influence and relationship‑building skills.
→Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and CRM platforms.
