We're looking for a Backend Developer to join our Product team and help build the platform that powers it all.

Responsibilities

• Test, validate, and ship mobile applications across iOS and Android: manually, thoroughly, and with genuine ownership of quality.
• Execute smoke, regression, and exploratory testing across multiple white-label products that share a common backend but require individual validation on every release.
• Perform hands-on hardware and connectivity testing: Bluetooth devices, GPS, wearables, and real-world edge cases that automated scripts cannot replicate.
• Collaborate directly with developers, product owners, and partners to reproduce issues, define acceptance criteria, and close the feedback loop fast.
• Write clear, actionable bug reports that give developers exactly what they need- steps to reproduce, environment details, and impact assessment.
• Contribute to our AI-augmented QA workflow - we use AI to write test cases, automate where possible, and move faster without cutting corners.
• Take ownership of the release pipeline quality: from R&D builds through internal releases to production, you are the last line of defense.

Requirements

• Quality-First Mindset: You think in edge cases, failure states, and user impact, not just green checkmarks.
• Hands-on Experience: 2+ years of manual mobile testing in a production environment, ideally with iOS and Android side by side.
• Mobile Testing: Proven ability to test across real devices, OS versions, and connectivity conditions. You know why a Google Pixel behaves differently from a Samsung.
• Bug Reporting: Clear, structured, developer-friendly reporting. You can reproduce the unreproducible and explain it to anyone in the room.
• Communication: Direct, calm under pressure, and able to push back on a release when the quality isn't there, without making it personal.
• AI-Augmented Workflow: You actively use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in your daily work and are genuinely excited about what they unlock for QA; not just using AI, but building smarter processes with it.
• Language Fluency: Proficient in English (B2+).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in health, fitness, wellness, or wearable technology.
• Familiarity with tools like Linear, TestRail, or similar for test and bug management.
• Experience writing automated tests (Playwright, Appium, XCUITest, or similar).
• Understanding of REST APIs and ability to test backend behavior via tools like Postman.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how builds move from development to release.
• GDPR awareness and experience testing apps that handle sensitive health data.
