Driver

The Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating company vehicles to transport passengers to and from various destinations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures. The successful candidate will contribute to reliable transportation services and maintain company vehicles in excellent operating condition.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Safely operating vehicles such as cars, pickup trucks, and small passenger buses;
• Ensuring the safe and timely transportation of passengers according to established routes and schedules;
• Performing regular vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure vehicles remain mechanically sound;
• Reporting mechanical issues, completing trip reports, and submitting collision reports when required;
• Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures while maintaining a strong safety culture

The ideal candidate will have:
•Minimum secondary education (LTS, MULO)
• A valid Class 2 Driver’s License;
• At least 1–2 years of relevant driving experience;
• Working knowledge of basic automotive maintenance procedures;
• Ability to deal effectively and courteously with others;
•Willingness to work and be based in Paramaribo
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both Dutch and English.

If selected, you will be required to submit a Police Clearance Certificate (“Bewijs van Goedgedrag”). Please initiate the request at your respective District Commissariat.
