As part of your development programme, you will gain experience in:
- Project planning and coordination
- Health & Safety management and compliance
- Managing project documentation and administration
- Resource planning and scheduling
- Risk assessments and method statements
- Budget monitoring and reporting
- Stakeholder and customer communication
- Programme delivery and performance monitoring
- Leadership and team management skills
- Civil engineering and infrastructure project delivery
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Trainee Project Manager, you will:
- →Support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects
- →Assist with project planning and scheduling activities
- →Help maintain project records and documentation
- →Support the preparation of reports and project updates
- →Assist with reviewing Health & Safety documentation
- →Learn how to produce and review risk assessments and method statements
- →Work with site teams, suppliers and subcontractors
- →Attend project meetings and contribute to planning discussions
- →Build positive relationships with customers, residents and other stakeholders
- →Develop an understanding of resource management, budgeting and project controls
Essential
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Positive and proactive approach to work
- Problem-solving mindset
- Commitment to working safely and following procedures
Desirable
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
- Interest in construction, engineering or infrastructure
- Full UK driving licence or willingness to work towards obtaining one
