They are responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, scheduling, and leading warehouse associates while maintaining a commitment to safe operations and customer satisfaction.

Warehouse Managers are responsible for the oversight of warehouse operations, scheduling, and leading a team of warehouse associates. They will interact daily with customers, drivers, and other warehouse teams.

Warehouse Managers are committed to helping create and sustain an environment in which all R&S Associates can thrive.

Job Overview

Warehouse Managers take professional ownership of the daily operations of their assigned warehouse, including communicating with customers in person, on the phone, and via email as well as overseeing and supporting the work of warehouse associates.

Warehouse Managers are actively involved in the interview process and ongoing performance assessment of Warehouse Associates, making recommendations to Human Resources and the Operations Manager.

Additionally, Warehouse Managers share responsibility for warehouse budgeting and selected operational financial metrics alongside the Operations Manager and VP of Operations.

Warehouse Managers receive input and direction while also possessing the ability to succeed without regular oversight.

The Warehouse Manager Position is On-Location.

Responsibilities and Duties:

R&S Warehouse Managers have a wide variety of responsibilities and duties, including but not limited to:

• Receiving, Processing, and Categorization of Customer Inventory
• Directing the work of Warehouse Staff
• Responding to Customer Inquiries
• Actively Participating in Ongoing Training Programs with Satisfactory Results
• Adhering to R&S Logistics’ Standards of Quality and Customer Service
• Loading, Unloading, Verifying Count & Condition of, Carefully Handling and Properly Storing Customer Inventory
• Performing Duties Customarily Assigned to Warehouse Associates on an As-Needed Basis
• Adhering to all Industry-Specific and Site-Specific Safety Requirements
• Accurately Reporting Time Worked, Adhering to Clock-In/Clock-Out Procedures
• Adhering to R&S Logistics’ Employee Handbook
