Responsibilities

→Assist Journeyman Ironworkers with the erection, installation, and assembly of structural steel and iron.
→Assist with rigging, bolt-up, fit-up, alignment, and positioning of structural steel.
→Help Ironworkers and Welders with material handling, preparation, and positioning as needed.
→Safely use hand and power tools required for ironwork activities.
→Load, unload, stage, and move structural steel, tools, and equipment.
→Follow directions from Journeymen, Foremen, and other supervision.
→Maintain tools and work areas in safe working condition.
→Follow all site safety requirements, including fall protection and proper rigging practices.
→Perform physically demanding work and work at significant heights, including 300+ ft.
