Samba is a media intelligence company. We know what the world is watching, reading, and thinking about — in real time, at scale, across every screen. Our data exists with the consent of over a billion people, organized into the most complete picture of consumer attention ever built. The biggest brands in the world use that picture to make smarter decisions. We think it’s the most interesting data asset on the planet, because it’s the most culturally relevant.

Central to Samba's mission is the ability to capture, measure, and make sense of massive amounts of media and web-based behavioral data. Beyond this foundational mission is the earnest desire for that information to help fuel better, faster decisions for the world's leading brands.

As a Measurement Science Associate, you will play a critical role in this mission — helping shape the future of what types of metrics the world's leading brands use to make media decisions. You'll work alongside a global team of Measurement Partners, Analysts, and Insights professionals to help execute measurement reports, automate recurring operational requests, and explore Samba data to surface unique, non-obvious, and previously undiscovered media intelligence. Measurement Science is a cross-functional organization, and this role will have the opportunity to collaborate with Samba's Engineering, Technology, Product, Marketing, and Commercial teams, all in the service of our customers.

  • Identify and automate recurring requests or repeatable tasks to improve team efficiency
  • Assist in the design, execution, and QA of TV measurement studies
  • Analyze viewership, exposure, and outcome data to generate client-ready insights and reporting
  • Support the development of reporting templates, measurement frameworks, and methodology documentation
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Data Science, and Client Success teams to deliver on client KPIs
  • Stay current on industry measurement methodologies, currency standards, and best practices
  • Contribute to internal tools and processes that improve measurement efficiency and scale
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field (Class of 2026 preferred)
  • Comfort working with data — SQL, Python, or R exposure preferred
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for turning numbers into stories
  • Interest in media measurement, TV attribution, or marketing analytics
