You will participate in schematic/layout review process and test and evaluate prototypes from initial engineering samples to mass production. You will help maintain firmware servers and develop tools for internal use, including scripts and basic hardware interfaces. JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for new product introduction, product enhancement, cost reduction and ongoing production support of new products on electronic control products as embedded software developer. Apply engineering principles to the analysis and solution of technical issues related to the design and manufacture of high volume, electronic and electromechanical products.
This engineer applies state of the art knowledge of microprocessors and embedded SW design to assure high-quality, low-cost solutions.
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience in embedded software development using C/C++ languages and software product development for high-volume production.
- Advanced experience with 8, 16, and 32-bit microcontrollers.
- Experience developing embedded software with RTOS or multitask environments, including Embedded Linux.
- Strong hardware knowledge related to BSP & HAL, including BSL and specific components like Wi-Fi.
- Experience working with custom hardware and using tools like logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, debuggers, and protocol analyzers.
- Experience implementing/updating communication protocols such as RS-232, SPI, and I2C.
- Knowledge of software/system design, module development, and software architecture awareness.
- Ability to work independently and within a global organization, with occasional travel for extended periods.
- Organized with the ability to manage diverse workloads and release required documentation systematically.
- Experience in coaching less experienced engineers and explaining technical topics to non-technical individuals.
- Familiarity with project development methodologies like Scrum, Waterfall.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with NXP, STM, Texas Instruments, ESP, Renesas microprocessors and IAR Systems compilers. As well as ARM architecture.
- Good understanding and experience with wireless networks and connected systems architectures.
