Responsibilities
~2 min readBecome part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- →Perform technical planning across multiple technology domains (compute, storage, client, network, physical cable management, production asset management, and infrastructure components) throughout factory
- →Create and maintain Technology Architecture documentation for transparency
- →Integrate manufacturing technology solutions into Scout cybersecurity strategy
- →Create Infrastructure and Hardware Lifecycle Plans
- →Assess requirements and deliver solutions in accordance with the Production business requirements
- →Work with production stakeholders to determine the expected level of performance and risks with new processes and systems. Create, with the business area, continuous improvement plans addressing Mean Time to Recovery objectives
- →Project management and track assigned technology portfolio necessary to ensure operational readiness for factory operations
- →Identify, prototype, and test automated solutions which support business process maturity or improvement
- →Support continuous improvement processes on the production floor.
- →Identify Automated Solutions which promote self-healing and self-service technologies to support business process maturity or improvement
- →Deliver line side technology solutions in coordination with planning department and automation expert responsible for integration of core production systems to Plant Production Processes
- →Works with the application specialist and enterprise architecture team to identify infrastructure components impacting key performance indicators
- →Ensure monitoring and visualization capabilities are made available to support teams to aid in efficient recovery if an issue is encountered.
- →Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices related to manufacturing systems
- →Act as a subject matter expert (SME) production system architecture, providing technical expertise and guidance to Plant stakeholders.
- →Lead during the early phases of a project/initiative, responsible for scoping the project, gathering requirements, collaboration with domain architects, and leading the teams to put together a scalable and sustainable solution.
Requirements
