Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor – High Profile Complex.

Location: Downtown Toronto, ONPay Rate: $22.00 per hourSchedule: Continental Rotation – 0700–1900 / 1900–0700Employment Type: Full-Time

Allied Universal is seeking a professional, experienced, and customer-focused Shift Supervisor to join our team at a prestigious Downtown Toronto property. The Shift Supervisor will oversee daily security operations, provide leadership and direction to the security team, and ensure site procedures, client expectations, and company standards are consistently followed.

  Supervise and provide direction to Security Guards throughout the assigned shift.

• →

  Ensure security staff are properly deployed and completing assigned duties and post orders.

• →

  Conduct regular site inspections and monitor overall security operations.

• →

  Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, and calls for service.

• →

  Provide guidance to Security Guards in handling incidents, access control, and customer service situations.

• →

  Monitor CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and other security systems as required.

• →

  Communicate effectively with property management, Allied Universal management, and other site stakeholders.

• →

  Ensure all incidents, occurrences, and shift activities are accurately documented.

• →

  Complete shift reports, logs, and other required documentation.

• →

  Identify and address security, safety, staffing, and operational concerns during the shift.

• →

  Assist with training, coaching, and onboarding of security personnel.

• →

  Ensure all officers maintain professional conduct, appearance, and customer service standards.

• →

  Conduct shift briefings and ensure important information is communicated during shift changes.

• Minimum 2 years of security experience, with previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.

• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a security team.

• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.

• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.

• Excellent report writing and documentation skills.

• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Ability to work rotating days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Previous experience as a Security Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, or Team Lead.

• Experience in a commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, or mixed-use environment.

• Experience working with CCTV, access control, and security management systems.

• Experience communicating with clients, property management, emergency services, and other stakeholders.
