About the Role
~1 min readYou will join the People team as part of the People Ops & Payroll function. You will work in close collaboration with the Payroll Specialist, sitting within the People Compliance & Governance area. It is a high-autonomy, high-variety role with visibility across the entire company, the operational backbone that keeps everything running smoothly for our ~400 employees.
Your focus is on the ops side: coordinating processes, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring every cycle (payroll, onboarding) runs on time and without gaps.
Payroll & Compensation
Coordinate the monthly payroll cycle with the Payroll Specialist: variable collection, process tracking, contract changes, and internal audit support.
Manage offboarding processes end-to-end from the ops side.
Deel & Freelancer/Advisor Management
Run monthly payments on EOR for international employees: expense approvals, time-off management, and bonus/variable additions.
Manage the full invoice and payment flow for external freelancers and advisors, with fixed monthly deadlines and close attention to detail.
Review invoices against control spreadsheets and coordinate with Finance for approval and payment via Tipalti.
Benefits & Occupational Health (PRL)
Manage health insurance: enrolments, cancellations, modifications, and annual policy renewals.
Monthly cost reconciliation with the Finance team.
Coordinate mandatory PRL training, medical check-ups, and annual on-site visits.
Onboarding & Offboarding Operations
Own the operational side of onboarding: profile activation in ATS, HiBob setup (employment data, time off, time tracking), and coordination of onboarding session logistics.
Coordinate PRL licences and initial compliance training for new joiners.
Own the full offboarding process from an ops and compliance perspective.
HiBob Administration
Administer and maintain HiBob as one of the platform owners: time tracking, time off, surveys, reports, integrations, and employee data.
Day-to-Day Support
Resolve employee queries via Jira ticketing system.
Create and maintain internal documentation, processes, and guides.
2–4 years of experience in HR Ops or People Ops (generalist or specialist).
Experience coordinating payroll cycles — not necessarily calculating payroll, but owning the coordination and follow-up.
Hands-on experience with a modern HRIS (HiBob, Personio, Factorial, or equivalent).
End-to-end ownership of onboarding and offboarding operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English (C1+ level in both languages) are required. Additional European languages are highly valued.
Nice to Have
~1 min readExperience with, HiBob, Payroll Software, Deel or contractor/freelancer payment platforms.
Knowledge of PRL (occupational risk prevention) in Spain.
