Hardware Test - Staff Engineering Specialist (R4704)

The Hardware Test Engineering team supports this mission by developing and maintaining test infrastructure that ensures the reliability and performance of X-BAT hardware throughout development and production.

As a Staff Engineering Specialist, you will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and operating a fleet of hardware test systems, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments as well as production test equipment. These systems integrate electrical, mechanical, networking, and software components to validate avionics, vehicle subsystems, and production hardware.

In this highly hands-on role, you will perform electrical debugging, system integration, and hardware rework while supporting the deployment and sustainment of complex test infrastructure. You will work closely with test engineers, design engineers, and production teams to diagnose failures, improve test coverage, and ensure that hardware validation systems operate reliably in both development and manufacturing environments.
