HVAC Service Technician

As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, maintain, and service residential heating and cooling systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You'll identify equipment issues, educate homeowners on repair and replacement options, and perform high-quality work that reflects Davis Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric's commitment to excellence.

  Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems.

  Perform preventive maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-split systems, and indoor air quality equipment.

  Accurately diagnose electrical, refrigeration, airflow, combustion, and mechanical system issues.

  Explain findings and provide homeowners with repair, replacement, and maintenance recommendations.

  Perform system testing, equipment startups, and operational checks to ensure peak performance.

  Complete service documentation, estimates, and required paperwork using company software.

  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while respecting customers' homes.

  Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standards.

  Build lasting customer relationships through professionalism, integrity, and exceptional service.

  Participate in ongoing technical, product, and safety training.

• Previous residential HVAC service experience required.

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

• Thorough knowledge of heating, air conditioning, heat pump, refrigeration, electrical, and airflow systems.

• EPA Universal Certification required.

• NATE Certification preferred but not required.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple service calls.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
