Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Dubai, UAE Job Overview A skilled Mechanical Design Engineer is required to design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems and components for industrial, manufacturing, or construction projects. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality design solutions aligned with project specifications and international standards. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies using engineering principles Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using design software Perform calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate design performance Review project specifications and ensure designs meet client and regulatory requirements Collaborate with production, project, and quality teams for design implementation Conduct design modifications based on feedback and site requirements Prepare technical documentation, BOM (Bill of Materials), and reports Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and international standards (ASME, ISO, etc.) Support troubleshooting and provide technical solutions during project execution Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 2 to 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering Experience in industrial, manufacturing, MEP, or EPC projects preferred Prior experience working on overseas or Gulf projects is an added advantage Required Skills Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Inventor Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and standards Experience in 3D modeling, drafting, and design validation Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerances Good analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Effective communication and teamwork skills
