Asset Modelling & Kit Creation: Create both hard surface and organic assets to build complex and diverse scenes across the world.
Layout & Composition: Create compelling layouts in Unreal Engine 5 while collaborating closely with Level Design to balance gameplay flow for spatial organization and composition.
World Integration: Build, populate, and refine world environments, open-world areas, and thematic Points of Interest (interior and exterior)
Optimization: Balance visual quality with technical performance limits to ensure scenes run smoothly at target frame rates.
Cross-discipline collaboration: Work actively with a multidisciplinary experienced team to ensure visual fidelity and seamless gameplay execution.
Must haves:
Professional experience:
Multiple years of experience working as an intermediate or senior Artist on a AA or AAA game team.
Portfolio Requirements:
A strong, complete portfolio showcasing various environmental assets, complete environments with asset placement, strong compositional skills, and attention to detail.
Clear breakdowns showing your specific scene contributions alongside individual asset work is preferred.
Style & Aesthetic:
Proven experience with semi-realistic to hyper-realistic environments and assets.
Technical Skills & Tools:
Unreal Engine 5: Working knowledge of UE5
3D Modeling & Sculpting: Proficient with Maya for hard-surface modeling and scene assembly, and ZBrush for high-poly organic sculpting.
Core Competencies:
Proactive communication: Highly engaged and articulate; driven by daily collaboration.
Drive & Adaptability: Self-motivated, highly adaptable to evolving project needs, and comfortable taking ownership of deliverables in a dynamic environment.
Nice-to-haves:
Specialized experience with the foliage creation pipeline and Speedtree.
Organic asset modeling and Zbrush.
Knowledge creating or modifying materials in Unreal Engine to achieve visual targets.

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $140,000. The stated pay scale reflects the combined compensation ranges for the levels applicable to this position. Your base salary and level will be determined by various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, skills, experience, and demonstrated competencies.
