Freelance IT Support & Security Specialist (Remote – On-Demand)

We are building a simple but effective IT support layer to ensure secure, controlled work environments for our remote employees. Role Type Freelance / On-demand No guaranteed hours Work is assigned as needed (setup, support, troubleshooting) Role Overview We are looking for a reliable IT specialist to handle as-needed setup and support for remote employees. Your main responsibility is to ensure that all work environments are properly set up, secure, and aligned with client requirements. Key Responsibilities Set up remote work environments for new hires Remote desktop tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Chrome Remote Desktop) VPN setup (if required) Account and access configuration Install and manage software Install only approved apps based on client requests Ensure employees do NOT install anything самостоятельно Enforce basic security practices Access control Password setup / permissions Restrict unauthorized usage where possible Provide troubleshooting support Login issues Software problems Connectivity issues Assist with “secure setups” for sensitive roles (finance, healthcare, etc.) Requirements Proven experience in IT support / system admin Strong familiarity with: Remote access tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Chrome Remote Desktop) VPN setup Google Workspace / user access management Ability to work independently and respond quickly when needed Good English communication (clear and professional) Reliable internet and availability for quick-turn tasks Important Notes This is a freelance, on-demand role - work will not be consistent You must be comfortable being contacted and completing tasks as needed Fast response time is critical Compensation Paid hourly or per task Work volume will increase as the company grows Position Goal To ensure all employees operate in a secure, controlled, and client-compliant environment, without adding unnecessary complexity.
