Solutions Architect

Education, Experience, and Licensing:

• →Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field required.
• →10+ years of progressive experience in application, systems, or solutions architecture; at least 3 years designing solutions in regulated industries (P&C insurance preferred).
• →2+ years of hands-on experience with an insurance platform (Duck Creek Policy, GW Claims, Salesforce) and at least one additional Duck Creek module, Guidewire Claims, and/or Salesforce.
• →3+ years of proven experience leading solution design across cross-functional teams and mentoring architects, engineers, or technical leads.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

• →Proficiency in implementing insurance management applications using technologies and platforms such as Duck Creek Policy & Billing, and/or Guidewire Claims.
• →Strong understanding of solution design principles using APIs, cloud technologies (e.g., Azure or AWS), and integration patterns.
• →Strong knowledge of system integration, data modeling, and security best practices.
• →Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
• →Ability to balance business needs, cost, and risk.
• →Strong documentation and communication skills.
• →Attention to detail and accountability.
• →Working knowledge of multi-tier and microservices architecture.
• →Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact with team members across the organization.
• →Exposure to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) a plus.
• →Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
