This role is responsible for identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate and timely payments to Reproduction Rights (RR) members. WHAT YOU’LL DO / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with the end-to-end distribution process (ingestion to distribution) process for domestic RR distributions. Research, identify and merge unmatched performances to payable works and AV works on internal system(s) Verify, identify, and resolve anomaly and/or unmatched results and payment allocations for performances, AV, and other works, as needed  Process allocations for domestic RR distributions and ensure accuracy through business validations based on RR distribution rules Generate and validate Quality Assurance and/or integrity reports required for distribution processing. Maintain the Watch-For List and ensure associated items have been reviewed and corrections completed Liaise with other teams (i.e. Repertoire, Membership, Queries, Finance, etc.) as required, to ensure smooth and on time processes and activities, and resolve queries from members and/or other societies  Act as subject matter expert in relation to RR royalties activities Other duties as required WHAT YOU WILL BRING / QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication skills Advanced knowledge of Office 365, including Excel  Excellent financial skills Excellent research skills and problem-solving skills Knowledge of existing SOCAN workflow Knowledge of repertoire, copyright and share splits is an asset Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and ability to multi-task ACCESSIBILITY & ACCOMMODATIONSOCAN is committed to providing an inclusive workplace environment that meets the accessibility needs of employees with disabilities.
