Chart of Accounts Analyst

Specifically, you will be required to:

 Manage and maintain the Group’s Chart of Accounts referentials in compliance with Société Générale accounting standards. The scope includes account and attribute creation and amendment across the International Chart of Accounts, the SG Paris Metropolis Chart of Accounts, and the internal Chart of Accounts for commercial companies.

What you will do:

·        Manage the SG Paris Metropolis Chart of Accounts in accordance with Société Générale Group accounting standards, including the creation and modification of general ledger accounts, mirror accounts, and related attributes.

·        Provide expert guidance to accounting platform users on Chart of Accounts structures, rules, and usage.

·        Monitor and control activity through the preparation and issuance of monthly Chart of Accounts reports.

·        Contribute to accounting projects requiring the implementation of new accounts and attributes, as well as continuous improvement initiatives.

·        Identify and propose opportunities to simplify and automate processes, improve operational efficiency, and keep procedures accurate and up to date.

·        Initiate and coordinate data quality campaigns aimed at rationalising and improving the Chart of Accounts.

·        Two to three years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within financial services or banking.

·        Academic background in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.

·        Knowledge of IFRS and banking activities is an advantage.

·        Strong ability to communicate clearly and build effective working relationships across functions and countries.

·        Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, functions, PivotTables, and charts.

·        Strong written and spoken English; French language skills are an advantage.

·        Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
