Who we are
Our client is the fastest-growing technology company in dental marketing, built in Austin, Texas. We launched in July 2023, tripled revenue in two years, and now serve 50+ practices across North America with churn close to zero. We combine AI with deep experience in technology to deliver outcomes at a quality and scale a services agency cannot match. And we are just getting started: we are expanding across the US and, in time, the world.
The model is simple and unusual: one practice per market. When we sign a practice, we turn away its competitors. That makes us a partner, not a vendor, and it means the mission is literal. The best care in a market should be impossible to miss, and it should win because it is the best care, not because it has the biggest budget.
We do it with a proprietary platform we build in-house. More on that when we talk.
Why this seat exists
People leave a top consultancy, bank, or law firm for one of three reasons: they want to own the outcome instead of the slide, or they want real upside in something still small enough to shape, or they want to be inside a high-growth US tech company while it is still being built. This seat is built for all three. You take a portfolio of practices, each a business with real revenue and a real owner, and you are accountable for growing them, not for handing over a plan someone else executes.
The market is worth it. US dentistry is a large, fragmented industry consolidating fast, and the independent practices we serve are fighting to win their markets against far bigger balance sheets. We are their operating partner in that fight. You are the person the owner calls.
This is not a standard account role. It sits where strategy, data, and a client's trust meet, and it belongs to the person who wants to be measured on all three.
The ramp is a gate, not a hand-hold. You train on transcripts of the founder's own client calls, then certify through a sequence of gates: reading a practice's numbers cold, building the strategic case, and running the hard conversation without hedging. Not everyone clears them. Those who do are leading client relationships within weeks, not quarters.
What you will own
1. Lead growth strategy for a portfolio of practices. Each practice is a business you are accountable for growing. Diagnose its economics (production, new-patient flow, case mix, capacity), set the targets, and build the plan that gets there. Decide where budget and effort go. Present to owners monthly with recommendations, not reports.
2. Turn data into decisions. You have live production, patient, lead, and media data on every account. Separate signal from noise, find the lever that moves the number, and pull it. When a trend turns, you see it first and direct Ad-Ops and Web-Dev on the fix before the client feels it.
3. Own the relationship at the owner level. You are the trusted advisor to the people who run these practices: expectation-setting, hard conversations, and the case for expanding into new locations. You run the kickoff as a strategy session, set the roadmap, and hold the team to it through launch.
4. Set the quality standard and enforce it. Every page, article, and update that reaches a client carries your name. You define the spec, direct the production team, and sign off. You delegate the work; you own the standard, and nothing leaves below it.
5. Build the operating system the company scales on. Codify what works into playbooks the whole team runs on. Know the difference between what should be systematised and what needs human judgment. The next hundred practices run on what you design.
What success looks like
We measure the first 90 days on trajectory, not a checklist. By the end of them, this is what we expect to be true:
Days 1 to 30: you understand the business. You know how a dental practice makes money, what moves production, and where marketing actually changes the outcome. You have cleared the certification gates and sat in on the founder's client calls.
Days 31 to 60: you own a portfolio. You are running client relationships without a safety net. Every owner in your book knows your name, has heard your point of view, and has acted on at least one recommendation you made.
Days 61 to 90: you are changing numbers. At least one practice in your portfolio is growing because of a call you made. You have found something in the way we operate that was slowing us down and fixed it. You are the person we ask about your accounts, not the person who asks us.
Who we are looking for
You have spent at least two years somewhere that demanded a great deal of you: a top management consultancy, an investment bank, a serious law firm, or a high-growth tech company. You know what a high bar feels like and you would rather work to one than coast.
What we need to see:
• You own outcomes without waiting for permission, and you would rather be accountable than comfortable.
• You translate numbers into plain English. A client should finish your update knowing exactly what happened and what you recommend.
• You think in structures. You break a messy business problem into its drivers, find the one that matters, and build the mechanism that fixes it for good.
• You write and speak with precision. A one-paragraph email from you moves a decision; a twenty-minute call changes a client's quarter.
• You are already using AI in your work and are curious about what it can do next. • You can commit to US Central business hours, Monday to Friday, as a real schedule, not a stretch.
What we do not need: dental experience, marketing experience, or agency experience. We will teach you the domain. We cannot teach the intensity, which is why we are hiring for it.
The tools, we will teach you. The judgment, we are hiring for.
What we expect, plainly
This is an intense role and we would rather say so now.
• The hours are US hours. Your day runs 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Central, because that is when our clients are awake. That is a late shift in South Africa. This is the schedule, not a phase. • We work hard and we expect you to. We are a small team scaling fast. Some weeks will be heavy. Nobody here is watching the clock, and nobody will be watching yours.
• The bar does not move. Every recommendation defensible with numbers. Every commitment to a client kept. Every deliverable something you would put in front of a partner. "Good enough" is a phrase you will not hear.
• You will be measured on client outcomes, not activity. Production, new patients, and retention in your portfolio are your scorecard.
• Speed and ownership over polish and process. We would rather you make a decision, be wrong, and fix it than wait for sign-off.
If you are looking for a role that eases off after a demanding few years, this is not it. If you want a place where the intensity is matched by the upside, keep reading.
What you get
• Real ownership from day one. Your portfolio, your clients, your calls. No layers between you and the outcome.
• Direct work with the founder. You are trained on his client calls and you work with him on the accounts that matter most.
• A front-row seat to an AI company being built. You help decide what our AI does next and see the results play out across every market we serve.
• Early-employee upside. We serve 50+ practices today, we are expanding across the US, and the world is next. The people who prove themselves in this seat are the people we intend to build the next teams around.
• Skills that compound. Client strategy, data fluency, AI-native operations, and the dental market, which is large, fragmented, and consolidating fast.
• USD compensation, remote, and a team that means it when it says time zones are a superpower.
• The inside of a US tech company at growth speed. Austin-built, AI-driven, and moving at a pace you will not find in a professional services firm, or frankly anywhere else.
How we work
Best care wins. The practice that treats patients best should win its market. Our job is to make that true. Budget is not a substitute for quality, in our clients or in us.
Own the outcome. Nobody here waits to be told. If it is in your portfolio, it is yours, including the parts that go wrong.
Go fast, then go faster. Yesterday's process is today's baseline. We would rather make ten decisions and fix two than make one perfect decision late.
Kind and candid. We say the hard thing, to clients and to each other, and we say it with respect. Hedging is a failure of care.
Sweat the details. The work that reaches a client has your name on it. If you would not put it in front of a partner, it does not go out.
