About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Low Code Automation Engineer who will support customer projects and internal operational efficiency. Much of your work will revolve around building and improving AI agent architectures, data pipelines and automation workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Your work will involve applying technical expertise to diverse, high-impact projects. Typical tasks include:
- Building & Upgrading AI Workflows:
- Providing technical support and development for projects, such as upgrading an AI-powered stock market analyst (which involves implementing new n8n workflows for technical chart analysis, integrating Finhub API, and optimizing the deep-research AI model).
- Setting up efficient RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and orchestrating AI agents based on established templates.
- Automation & Integration:
- Implementing core automation and data handling workflows using CSV, Excel, and Supabase DB.
- Working directly with APIs, Webhooks, MCPs (Multi-Channel Platforms), and GPT integrations to connect and synchronize systems.
- Assessing computational efficiency and checking code nodes within workflows to ensure performance.
- System Maintenance & Development:
- Debugging scripts and fixing backend issues within automation flows.
- Writing custom code for tools, functions, actions, filters, and pipelines specifically for OpenWebUI.
- Assisting with the deployment and server maintenance of our self-hosted infrastructure on Hostinger and Hetzner (Germany).
Essential Requirements:
- Automation Expertise: Proven experience with integration and automation tools is mandatory, with strong hands-on experience in n8n being required.
- AI Agent Fundamentals: A strong understanding of chatbot interfaces, including how to effectively prompt and connect knowledge/context to drive accurate agent performance.
- Coding Capability: Capable of writing code to create custom functions, actions, and data pipelines within the automation and AI ecosystem.
- Self-Hosting & Open Source: Knowledge and comfort with self-hosting open-source software and supporting server deployments (servers in Germany).
- Language: English proficiency is sufficient for technical work and team communication. German is a significant plus due to our German-speaking client base.
