We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Closing Coordinator to manage the end-to-end loan closing process from final approval through funding. This role is critical to ensuring accurate documentation, seamless communication across stakeholders, and timely, compliant closings.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, calm under pressure, and experienced in coordinating multiple parties and deadlines within the mortgage or real estate closing environment.
Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all aspects of the loan closing process from approval through funding.

Ensure all milestones, deadlines, and regulatory requirements are met prior to closing.

Maintain clear ownership of files and proactively track progress to avoid delays.

Review loan, title, and closing documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Identify discrepancies or missing information and work with appropriate parties to resolve issues prior to closing.

Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, loan officers, escrow agents, title companies, and internal teams.

Provide clear updates, answer questions, and proactively address concerns to keep all parties aligned.

Coordinate and schedule closing appointments, confirming dates, times, and logistics with all involved parties.

Ensure all required documents and approvals are in place ahead of scheduled closings.

Confirm funding and verify disbursements following closing.

Ensure proper delivery and storage of final documentation within internal systems or investor recordkeeping platforms.

Anticipate potential closing obstacles and escalate concerns early.

Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in mortgage, title, or real estate closing coordination preferred.

Familiarity with loan documentation, title processes, and closing disclosures strongly preferred.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Loan Origination Systems (LOS).

Highly organized, reliable, and solution-oriented.

Closings are completed on time with minimal errors or rework.

Stakeholders feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the closing process.
