Our client is a Houston-based transportation and logistics operation managing two active trucking businesses servicing high-volume commercial routes across the United States.

The companies currently operate a combined fleet of approximately 20 drivers across dry van and flatbed operations, supporting customers in package delivery and industrial freight transportation.

One operation primarily services FedEx-related routes, while the second supports steel mill transportation and flatbed logistics.

As the business continues to grow, leadership is seeking to establish reliable overnight operational coverage to ensure drivers have immediate support during after-hours situations, emergencies, and route-related issues.

The Night Dispatcher will serve as the primary overnight operations contact for drivers across both trucking companies.

This role is responsible for monitoring active routes, responding to driver issues in real time, escalating emergencies appropriately, and helping maintain smooth overnight operations while the daytime management team is offline.

The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly responsive, organized, and experienced within transportation or trucking environments.

Prior dispatch or logistics coordination experience is strongly preferred.
