Location: Remote, Worldwide
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Sourcing Location: Global, preference PH 
Schedule: 9 AM-5 PM, CST
Salary: $1200 - $3500 (depending on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Odoo Systems Administrator / Developer to manage, maintain, customize, and optimize our Odoo ERP system within a growing small business environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of Odoo to support operations across departments such as sales, inventory, accounting, purchasing, manufacturing, and customer service. The ideal candidate is both technically capable and business-minded, able to translate operational needs into efficient Odoo workflows, integrations, and custom modules.

Key Responsibilities

Odoo Administration
● Manage daily operation and health of the Odoo ERP platform
● Administer users, permissions, workflows, and system configurations
● Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
● Maintain staging and production environments
● Coordinate system updates, upgrades, and patches

Development & Customization
● Design and develop custom Odoo modules
● Modify existing modules to improve business workflows
● Customize views, reports, dashboards, and automations using Odoo Studio or other applicable tools
● Write clean, maintainable Python and XML code
● Extend Odoo functionality using the Odoo ORM framework

Integrations
● Build and maintain integrations with external systems such as:
○ EDI functionality
○ Warehouses and shipping providers
○ Payment gateways
○ CRM tools
○ Accounting systems
● Develop and maintain API connections and webhooks

Business Process Optimization
● Collaborate with internal stakeholders to:
○ Identify operational inefficiencies
○ Implement improved workflows in Odoo
○ Configure automation where possible
● Provide technical guidance on best practices for ERP usage

Data Management & Reporting
● Maintain data integrity across modules
● Develop custom reports and dashboards
● Support data imports, exports, and migrations

Support & Training
● Provide internal support for Odoo users
● Train staff on new features and system updates
● Create internal documentation and SOPs for system usage

Required Qualifications
● 2+ years experience working with Odoo ERP
● Experience with Python development
● Experience customizing Odoo modules and workflows
● Familiarity with Odoo framework, ORM, and architecture
● Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications
● Experience implementing or working with Odoo in small or mid-sized businesses
● Familiarity with:
○ Inventory management
○ Accounting workflows
○ E-commerce
● Experience with Odoo.sh
● Knowledge of JavaScript, XML, and REST APIs
● Experience with CI/CD workflows
