Responsibilities

  • Support daily accounting functions across multiple entities, maintaining accurate and timely records within Sage Intacct.

  • Process vendor invoices, payments, and expense data from Fyle, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and seamless integration into Sage Intacct.

  • Assist in maintaining accounting records across multiple dimensions (e.g., tax basis, accrual basis) as directed.

  • Assist with general ledger maintenance, including preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

  • Support the monthly close process by completing account reconciliations and preparing supporting schedules.

  • Help document and follow established internal accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures.

  • Prepare routine financial reports and ad hoc analyses as requested by the Controller or leadership team.

  • Support accounting system optimization efforts within Sage Intacct and assist with audits, internal reviews, and special financial projects as needed.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with U.S.-based team members on task statuses and open reconciliation items.

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, alongside 2–4 years of full-cycle accounting experience.

  • Accounting Standards: Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting mechanics.

  • Software Competency: Direct experience with Sage Intacct or similar cloud-based accounting software. Experience processing expense platforms (such as Fyle) is a strong plus.

  • Data Analytics: Solid Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex reconciliations).

  • Remote Efficiency: Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and proactive in flagging issues to the Controller. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are mandatory.

Requirements

  • Prior experience supporting growing companies, family offices, investment structures, or multi-entity organizations.

  • CPA candidate or currently working toward professional certification.

  • Direct experience assisting with accounting system implementations or migrations.

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or Monday.com.

  • Proven track record of working successfully with U.S.-based leadership teams in a remote setting.
