We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the optimization, experimentation, and performance strategy of a high-growth Shopify+ eCommerce storefront. This is a highly analytical and cross-functional role responsible for driving measurable improvements in conversion rate (CVR), average order value (AOV), revenue per visitor, and overall digital experience performance.
This role will own the Digital team backlog, oversee sprint execution and QA, and build a rigorous A/B testing and experimentation roadmap. The ideal candidate combines strong product management capabilities with deep eCommerce optimization experience and a data-driven mindset focused on revenue growth.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Own and manage the Digital team backlog, ensuring tickets are clearly documented, prioritized, and aligned with business impact.
- Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and recurring Digital team meetings.
- Gather and document technical and business requirements with clarity and precision.
- Prioritize initiatives based on ROI, conversion opportunity, and strategic business goals.
- Maintain accountability and execution quality across distributed development teams.
- Lead QA and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all new features and releases.
- Oversee organized deployment processes that prioritize site stability and performance.
- Ensure high standards for frontend execution, mobile optimization, accessibility, and site speed.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical, UX, and performance bottlenecks.
- Own the end-to-end CRO strategy for the Shopify+ storefront.
- Develop initiatives to improve UX, personalization, frontend performance, and funnel optimization.
- Translate customer insights and analytics into actionable hypotheses and experiments.
- Continuously optimize the customer journey to improve CVR, AOV, and revenue per visitor.
- Build and manage a structured experimentation roadmap aligned with business priorities.
- Design, launch, analyze, and document A/B tests and conversion experiments.
- Manage testing tools, experimentation vendors, and implementation workflows.
- Turn experiment learnings into scalable improvements and product roadmap enhancements.
- Manage relationships with website and technology vendors, including eCommerce, review, personalization, and testing platforms.
- Evaluate and implement tools that improve efficiency, experimentation speed, and site performance.
- Ensure vendor partnerships align with broader business and revenue objectives.
- Monitor and report on core eCommerce KPIs including:
- Conversion rate (CVR)
- Average order value (AOV)
- Revenue per visitor
- Funnel performance
- Site speed and technical performance
- Build and maintain dashboards that connect experimentation results to revenue impact.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to leadership teams.
- Use data to forecast impact, prioritize initiatives, and refine optimization strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Growth, Creative, Merchandising, and Operations teams to align website initiatives with campaigns and product launches.
- Serve as the strategic owner of the digital customer experience while remaining hands-on in execution.
- Build scalable processes for backlog management, sprint execution, experimentation, and deployment.
- Operate with urgency, clarity, and a high standard of execution.
Requirements
~1 min read- 5–8+ years of experience in eCommerce product management, CRO, or digital product roles.
- Direct experience managing a Shopify+ storefront and coordinating with development teams.
- Proven experience leading Agile or Scrum workflows, including:
- Backlog grooming
- Sprint planning
- Prioritization
- QA
- Deployment management
- Hands-on experience running A/B tests to improve conversion rate and customer experience.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience managing eCommerce dashboards and KPIs.
- Experience in luxury, fashion, beauty, accessories, or DTC brands is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and comfortable managing distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Confident decision-maker willing to challenge assumptions and advocate for performance-driven improvements.
- Strong interest in AI tools and emerging technologies that improve efficiency and experimentation.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
- Self-directed leader capable of balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
