Our client is a small but growing concrete precast manufacturer based in the United States. The company specializes in producing high-quality precast concrete products, such as underground pipes and catch basins, for civil engineering projects with a specific focus on stormwater management. The company works closely with a diverse range of clients, including civil engineers, road builders, and material suppliers, to support critical infrastructure development.

About the Role: 
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. This role is ideal for a quick learner with a technical aptitude and a strong desire for career growth. As a key member of our team, your primary responsibility will be to accurately interpret civil engineering plans and perform material takeoffs to quantify products for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan Interpretation & Analysis: Meticulously read and interpret civil engineering plans, blueprints, and project specifications to understand all requirements.

• Material Takeoffs: Accurately perform detailed material takeoffs to quantify necessary products such as pipes, catch basins, and other precast concrete items for each project.

• Data Entry & Quoting Support: Input takeoff data into our proprietary software to support the quoting process.

• Drawing & Schematic Support: Assist in producing or redlining drawings and schematics related to project takeoffs.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the estimating and project management teams to ensure all project specifications and client needs are met.

• Basic Civil Engineering Knowledge: A foundational understanding of civil engineering plans and concepts is highly desirable.

• Technical Aptitude: Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and master proprietary software.

• Communication: Excellent English language skills for clear communication with the team.

• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
