Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Maintain existing tools infrastructure and work on improving scalability
- →Able to rapidly develop prototypes to identify the best set of technologies and toolkits to use for new feature development
- →Work is reviewed periodically based on a set of defined procedures
- →Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews, test case reviews, and process enhancements
- →Write functional and design specifications, and work with the technical publications team for documentation needs
- →Collaborate and communicate well with others on requirements and status to ensure products are properly developed within set deadlines and reports are accurate
- →Designs, develops, and tests tools using Python and other scripting languages
Requirements
~1 min read- Ability to work independently, self-starter, good team player, with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong sense of ownership
- Experience with AWS infrastructure is a big plus
- Knowledge of Internet Security, Firewalls, AV, and Anti-Spam technologies a PLUS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with different groups, teams, and projects
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Shows aptitude to learn new things and incorporate new ideas
- Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, agile team environment
- Knowledge of various software licensing models and associated restrictions
- At least 1 year of related experience preferred
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred
- Hands-on experience in Python and other technologies preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related area of study is preferred
- 1+ years of industry hands-on experience in the skills requested above preferred
