Responsibilities

→Transport people in a shuttle between locations
→Safely load and unload cargo as needed
→Responsible for ensuring shuttle contents are secured for safe and undamaged delivery to destination
→Avoiding high-traffic and accident-prone routes, where possible
→Monitor service records of the vehicle when driving and report all problems to manager immediately
→Responsible for the cleanliness of vehicle and refueling when low

This is a temporary position with SpaceX, for the length of time as stated, and is subject to change with minimal notice as business needs dictate.

LENGTH OF POSITION: 3 months (permanent hire conversion based on performance and business need)
LOCATION: Brownsville, TX

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency certificate
2+ years of professional experience driving people in a commercial setting OR 6+ months of contracting driving experience at SpaceX
p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Valid Texas Class B (or Class A) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements. (Texas CDL required; out-of-state CDLs must be converted per DPS rules)

10+ years of professional driving experience
Experience driving a school bus
Outstanding knowledge of applicable transport and safety codes
Experience with route planning
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong customer-service background

Valid driver's license and clean DMV record
Ability to work all required hours, weekends and off-shifts with minimal notice
