About the Role

We’re looking for a confident, customer-focused Sales and Onboarding Consultant to join our team in our Melbourne retail hub. This is a fast paced, in person sales role where you’ll help customers choose the right vehicle subscription for rideshare driving. No cold calling, just real conversations, strong foot traffic, and warm enquiries every day. 

If you enjoy selling face to face, hitting targets, and creating great customer experiences, you’ll thrive here. 

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all Splend’s vehicle subscription packages and related products.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and recommend the most suitable subscription solution.
  • Guide customers through the full sales process from enquiry to final sign up.
  • Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales KPIs, including conversion rates, customer satisfaction, and retention goals.
  • Ensure vehicle displays, marketing collateral, and digital tools are up to date and engaging.
  • Gather customer feedback and share insights with the Team Leader to refine sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Actively contribute to a positive team culture focused on growth, accountability, and continuous improvement. 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a target-driven sales role, ideally within a subscription based, finance or high growth sales environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs in sales performance, customer conversion, or account growth.
  • Strong understanding of consultative/ solution selling, customer service excellence, and the importance of relationship-building.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence customers effectively.
  • High attention to detail and strong time management, with the ability to handle multiple customers and priorities.
  • Experience or passion for the automotive or mobility industry (desirable).
  • A full unrestricted Australian Driver's License (must have)
  • Comfortable commuting to our Melbourne hub daily
  • Able to work weekends as required
