QA Lead Engineer (Europe only)

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of every release that goes out. As a HQA Lead, you will combine hands-on expertise in both manual testing and test automation with leadership responsibilities across quality strategy, processes, and team development. You will help define testing approaches, improve automation coverage, establish quality standards, and drive continuous improvements throughout the software development lifecycle

• →Provide technical leadership and mentorship, helping teams deliver high-quality software through collaboration and best practices 
• →Drive the Testing lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions
• →Simulate user needs and actual usage scenarios from a user perspective
• →Review designs and code done by others and provide constructive feedback
• →Manage team members' performance and career development
• →Track and record product issues and analyse the problems through various tools, giving feedback to relevant personnel to make corrections
• →Drive the creation and maintenance of QA documentation, standards, and best practices
• →Design, develop and maintain automated Web, Mobile, and API tests
• →Improve our Continuous Integration pipeline
• →Maintain and improve the automation framework. Help automate engineering workflows, including custom tooling beyond the framework.
• →Align QA processes between different departments and stakeholders

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, with experience in mentoring, performance reviews, work allocation
• Solid understanding of testing types (integration, end-to-end, regression, performance, and API testing), test design techniques and quality processes
• Experience with Web / Android / iOS and API manual testing
• Experience with web debugging and API testing tools (Chrome DevTools, Postman)
• Working knowledge of relational databases preferably MySQL
• Strong experience with Python
• Experience with Automation testing knowledge with REST APIs
• Experience in test automation for mobile apps (Android and iOS)
• Experience in Automation testing for web apps (Selenium/ Playwright)
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with Agile Methodology

• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB
• Experience with performance testing
• Experience with stress testing
• BS / MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering
• Experience with Kubernetes
