Android Developer - Digital Wallet & Payments (ID: 3840)

As an Android Developer, you will: Develop and enhance Android application features supporting digital wallet integrations within a large-scale mobile banking application. Implement payment and card-related user journeys, including card provisioning, tokenization status handling, and wallet management functionalities. Build intuitive, secure, and high-performing mobile user interfaces using modern Android frameworks and components. Integrate Android applications with backend services through RESTful APIs. Collaborate closely with backend developers, product owners, security teams, and compliance stakeholders to deliver secure payment solutions. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Develop and maintain automated UI tests to ensure application quality and stability. Support integration testing, end-to-end testing, and production readiness activities. Investigate and resolve issues identified during development, testing, and deployment phases. Contribute to continuous improvement through code reviews, refactoring, and performance optimization. Ensure adherence to mobile development standards, security guidelines, and engineering best practices. What You Bring to the Table: 4–6years of professional Android application development experience. Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK development. Experience with Java for Android development is an advantage. Solid understanding of Android UI development using XML layouts and Jetpack components. Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful backend services. Exposure to digital payments, wallet integrations, tokenization, or card-based solutions. Knowledge of mobile security best practices, authentication, and secure data handling. Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Espresso. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile application delivery. Experience working in Agile development environments. Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar Agile collaboration tools. Experience with Samsung Wallet SDK or similar wallet technologies is a plus. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
