As a Cloud Engineer - GCP, you will: Design, engineer, and implement secure and scalable Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments and projects. Define and develop the architecture of the GCP Landing Zone in collaboration with cross-functional technology architects. Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of GCP projects and services. Support DevOps and Service teams in transforming applications to the Google Cloud Platform. Participate in developing short- and medium-term Cloud Integration roadmaps, focusing on automation and scalability. Ensure security, compliance, and stability across all GCP projects and infrastructure. Embed FinOps by design principles into all projects to optimize cloud cost efficiency. Provide technical expertise and guidance to teams engaged in cloud transformation initiatives. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and manage provisioning through GitHub. Support operational teams in the transition and ongoing management of cloud services. Conduct technological monitoring to stay up to date with emerging GCP tools, practices, and standards. What You Bring to the Table: 6–10 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Proven expertise in designing and deploying secure, automated, and scalable GCP infrastructures. Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD tools within a DevOps environment. Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices. Experience integrating FinOps principles and cost-optimization strategies into cloud projects. Familiarity with cloud networking, IAM, automation frameworks, and service orchestration. Working knowledge of GitHub as a primary provisioning and automation platform. You Should Possess the Ability To: Architect, automate, and deploy complex cloud infrastructures in line with organizational standards. Analyze existing infrastructure and recommend innovative and efficient cloud solutions. Collaborate across DevOps, architecture, and security teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Challenge existing practices and propose alternative, optimized cloud solutions. Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively in an international, cross-functional environment. Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, maintaining a focus on quality and security.
