Kubernetes DevOps Engineer (ID: 3242)

As a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer, you will: Maintain, upgrade, and optimize Kubernetes clusters across development and production environments. Monitor and remediate CVEs in container base images and application dependencies to ensure compliance. Rebuild and redeploy container images as part of regular maintenance cycles. Enhance and streamline CI/CD workflows to improve reliability and deployment efficiency. Automate recurring operational, security, and compliance checks within the infrastructure. Collaborate with development teams to synchronize cluster updates with application releases. Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting production workloads to maintain high availability. Document operational runbooks, update processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. What You Bring to the Table: 3 years of hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments. Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, operations, and ecosystem components. Strong proficiency in container image management tools like Docker and BuildKit. Expertise in CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Concourse. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Helm, Kustomize, and Terraform. Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go) for automation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Exposure to at least one major cloud platform-AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack. You should possess the ability to: Design and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient Kubernetes-based platforms. Implement and enforce security best practices including Pod Security and Network Policies. Diagnose performance issues, identify causes, and apply effective solutions. Integrate automated compliance and vulnerability checks into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate effectively across development and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery cycles. Create clear and detailed documentation for operational tasks and recovery procedures. Manage complex deployments and updates with minimal downtime. Adapt quickly to new technologies and evolving Kubernetes ecosystem trends.
