Platform DevOps Engineer – XML (ID: 3766)

As a Platform DevOps Engineer, You Will: Operate and support XML-driven platforms used for content synchronization and validation. Automate system configuration, deployment processes, and operational workflows within enterprise platform environments. Build and maintain Linux-based packaging and deployment pipelines for XML platform operations. Support and manage cloud infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Troubleshoot and resolve platform-level operational issues related to XML processing pipelines and synchronization systems. Contribute to monitoring, stability improvements, operational readiness, and platform reliability initiatives. Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to improve automation, scalability, and operational robustness. Ensure stable, secure, and scalable XML platform operations within distributed cloud-native environments. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, operational excellence, and platform reliability. What You Bring to the Table: 8+ years of experience in XML technologies, DevOps engineering, platform operations, and cloud-based environments. Strong hands-on expertise with XQuery and XPath. Extensive experience working with XML databases such as MarkLogic, BaseX, or eXist-db. Strong understanding of XML data modeling, querying, synchronization, and validation processes. Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible. Strong shell scripting experience using Bash. Hands-on experience creating and managing RPM packages. Practical experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong Linux system administration and operational support expertise. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills related to XML-driven enterprise platforms. Familiarity with Java applications, including runtime behavior, configuration management, and operational support, is highly preferred. Experience working within DevOps and platform operations environments. You Should Possess the Ability To: Design and support scalable XML platform operations and synchronization solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex XML platform and infrastructure issues efficiently. Automate deployment, packaging, monitoring, and operational workflows within cloud-native environments. Collaborate effectively with engineering, DevOps, and operations teams. Ensure reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency of enterprise XML platforms. Manage operational support activities, deployments, and release processes with minimal disruption. Work independently while contributing effectively within distributed technical teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, monitoring, and operational excellence.
