Come join the Digital organization where you’ll apply your project management skills with internal business partners and external stakeholders in support of Starbucks Global Gifting & Card business. This role is key to delivering strategic and operational support, including business and project planning, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, providing visibility through timely communications and operational reporting, tracking and executing core go-to-market functions, coordinating across multiple workstreams, optimizing 3rd party vendor and supplier relationships, and identifying opportunities to continuously improve. A successful candidate will streamline processes and execute with excellence through your great attention to detail, your understanding of strong partnerships, and your ability to roll up your sleeves and dig in to lead workstreams. The ideal candidate to fill this role is equal parts strategic thinker, nimble problem solver, detail-oriented project driver and collaborative team member.
As a senior project manager, you will….
* Serve as project management lead for a variety of Starbucks Gifting & Card workstreams, scaling from routine operational tasks through to overall PM oversight of medium-size projects from kickoff to completion.
* Institute structure and repeatable processes in support of business needs to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
* Monitor and lead program schedules, progress and costs to ensure that expected results are delivered on time and within budget, with the ability to anticipate & mitigate challenges and escalate risk when necessary to successfully gain alignment on best path forward.
We’d love to hear from people with:
* 6+ years leading cross functional teams
* 6+ years defining objectives, scope and resources required
* 6+ years identifying risks and mitigations, knowing when to escalate
* 6+ years of experience demonstrating strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to navigate ambiguity and push through to completion
* 4+ years experience working with 3rd party vendors and suppliers
* 4+ years of general business experience in large, matrixed organizations
* 4+ years of strong communications skills including the development and delivery of clear and succinct messaging to executive level audiences

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
