Responsibilities

As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods using a flatbed truck, or tractor and flatbed trailer. This role involves loading, securing, and unloading cargo, as well as adhering to transportation regulations and ensuring the integrity of the transported items. CDL drivers play a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain by delivering a variety of goods, including oversized or unconventional loads.

→Safely operate a tractor and flatbed trailer
→Secure cargo using straps, chains, and other securing devices
→Tarp and protect loads when required
→Complete shipping and delivery paperwork accurately and on time
→Follow all DOT regulations and company safety requirements
→Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
→Maintain HOS, DVIR, proof of delivery, and fuel receipt records
→Communicate with supervisors, sales, customers, and other departments as needed
→Promptly report accidents, incidents, equipment issues, or safety concerns
→Maintain equipment in safe operating condition

Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
Current DOT Medical Card
Safe driving record
Knowledge of DOT transportation regulations and safety standards
Ability to safely secure loads using chains, straps, and other equipment
Ability to tarp and protect loads
Ability to perform the physical duties associated with flatbed driving
Strong communication skills
Dependable, accountable, and safety-focused
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing schedules and assignments

Nice to Have

2+ years of CDL driving experience
1+ year of flatbed experience
Experience securing various types of cargo, including large or oversized loads

Our drivers are HOME WEEKENDS and typically have only 1–2 overnight stays per week. Depending on business and customer needs, some weeks may require up to four overnight stays.
