St. Paul’s was founded in 1926 and was the first school in South America to receive accreditation from the UK government as a British School Oversees. Fully coeducational, with about 1,000 pupils, aged from 3 to 18, it is a school with history and tradition, but which embraces innovation, contemporary values and the latest in digital learning. We are a world-class school, and an international member of HMC and IAPS, and a member of COBIS and the LAHC. We are proud of our local, national and international reputation and we constantly strive to improve the opportunities for our pupils and staff. Responsibilities
~1 min read• Design and lead the school's training and development strategy
• Build structured onboarding programmes for all four employee populations (local teachers, expat teachers, teaching/class assistants, admin)
• Develop leadership capability among pedagogical and administrative leaders
• Create and manage the performance management cycle
• Lead strategic recruitment for local teachers, expat teachers, and leadership roles
• Supervise and develop the Business Partner and People Analyst
• Design career pathways and succession planning frameworks
• Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives
• Partner with the HR Director on workforce planning and organisational design
• Report People & Development and recruitment KPIs to the HR Director

Requirements
~1 min read• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organisational Development, or related field; postgraduate preferred
• 8+ years of experience in T&D, organisational development, or HR business partnering
• Proven experience designing and delivering training programmes
• Experience in recruitment, ideally in education or international environments
• Experience managing at least two direct reports
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
• Knowledge of competency frameworks and performance management systems
