Cloud Engineer

What You'll Do As a Cloud Engineer at Suzega, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies to build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions that enable our AI-driven innovations. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, with strong automation skills and a strategic mindset for multi-cloud architecture. Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform Build and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud environments Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or similar tools Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and configuration management Design and optimize multi-cloud networking architectures including VPNs, VPCs, and hybrid connectivity Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using cloud-native and third-party tools Implement security best practices including identity management, encryption, and compliance controls Optimize cloud costs through resource management, right-sizing, and architectural improvements Automate operational tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) Collaborate with development teams to design cloud-native application architectures Lead incident response and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend strategic improvements Requirements What You'll Bring 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and infrastructure management Expert-level knowledge of at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, ARM Templates) Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, GKE) Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CircleCI) Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPN) Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt) Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic) Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR) Experience with serverless architectures and microservices design patterns Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, managed database services) Understanding of DevOps and SRE principles and methodologies What Happens Next We will review applications If shortlisted, you'll participate in two virtual interviews with our Trusted Interviewers You will have to go through a technical assessment covering cloud architecture and infrastructure We will aim to complete our selection process within two weeks and notify you of our decision Why This Matters At Suzega, we're not just building better AI—we're thinking about how AI can work better with people and society.
