The Manager of Application Development leads the design, development, and ongoing support of enterprise applications. This role combines strong technical depth with people leadership, ensuring teams deliver high‐quality, scalable solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate is a hands‐on technical leader, effective communicator, and self‐starter who can quickly learn new technologies and adapt in a fast‐moving environment.
Responsibilities

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of application development experience across a variety of technologies
- 3+ years of people management or technical leadership experience
- Strong hands on experience working within enterprise platforms and ecosystems
- Broad technical background across multiple technologies (e.g., web, APIs, integrations, cloud, databases)
- Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and operate effectively in ambiguous environments
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive execution, and deliver results
Preferred:
- Experience leading teams in an agile or product oriented environment
- Experience integrating SaaS applications with enterprise systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, modern development frameworks, and DevOps practices
- Experience supporting business critical or regulated systems
- Technical leadership with a pragmatic, hands on mindset
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills
- Clear, concise communicator
- Self starter with high ownership and accountability
- Adaptable and fast learner
- Collaborative and solution oriented
